The multiplayer elements were so well done. ppl need to stop talking about the difficulty and start talking about the peerless combat physics. the combat was already great in demons - really better than anything in any other action rpg style game, if you can really lump these in there - and they made it smoother and really went to town on giving pretty much every weapon a unique moveset and feel. it really felt like an incredible adventure to explore it. the variety of the environments and the way they were knitted together was just breathtaking. but they definitely improved the experience overall. So, for all the talk of them aiming to make dark souls harder than demons, it turns out that was bs. and there were a few other nasty things in there, but overall i would say nothing worse than world tendency in demons, which could really lead you into despair. the curse was nasty but well advertised and mostly avoidable, except where i got cursed of course (first seath encounter) which was evil, altho i was also a bit stupid. i didn't do a single thing for a dark souls trophy that wasn't fun.Дark souls unquestionably had some cruel shit in it. some of that rare ore farming.horrible memories.

i did not miss often having to do the whole level over each time you fought the boss as in demons. the addition of the bonfire checkpoints was a big part of what made dark a bit friendlier, and were a great addition i think. the bosses were generally harder, the level design was more brutal. platinum trophy just to draw a line and give myself an excuse to stop playing.Дemons was harder overall.
